Denise Ann Eckelberry

Denise "Dee" Eckelberry, 62, of Plainfield passed away Monday, August 17, 2026 at Altercare in Coshocton. She was born in Coshocton, OH on October 2, 1963 to Bobby D. and Paulette (Holdsworth) Moyer.

Dee was a proud graduate of River View High School. During her high school years, she worked at McDonalds; often talked about that being the best job she ever had. Prior to becoming disabled, she worked in the offices at Pretty Products, Swiss Valley Oil, and Moore-Allbaugh Pest Control. An avid Ohio State fan, she was often sporting a Buckeyes T-shirt.

Dee is survived by her husband, Dana Eckelberry, with whom she shared 32 years with.

Along with her mother and husband she is also survived by her sister Shelley (Michael) Cummings; step daughter Layla (Joel) Wahl; step grandchildren Ethan, Rory, and Johannah Sandlund; niece Hayley Cummings; uncle Tim (Ellen) Holdsworth, and several cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bobby D. Moyer.

Per Dee's request there will be no calling hours or services. A private graveside service will be held at Plainfield Cemetery.
