David Cox, 74 of Coshocton, passed away on September 24, 2025 at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 22, 1951 in Harlan, Kentucky, the son of Lewis and Ovada (Vanover) Cox. Having been born in Kentucky, David was a true Kentucky gentleman in the way he was patient and respectful to others. He had a partnership with his beloved, Linda Holdsworth for almost 32 years, where his kindness and love showed. In his working career, he worked in the coal mines for many years then moving to over the road truck driving. In his free time, he loved the slow times of fishing on his boat and making his own fishing lures. He and Linda enjoyed creating and selling crafts together.
Along with Linda, David is survived by his children, David Cox, Todd Cox and Bobby (Samantha) Cox as well as Linda's children, Carla (Bryan) Edwards, Sheri (Chad) Wiggins and Adrian (Denise) Shample; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and his siblings, Cleo (Sherri) Cox, Jerry (Joyce) Cox, Evan (Jackie) Cox and Jeff (Kerri) Cox.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clyde Cox.

Per his wishes a cremation will take place with the Miller Funeral Home and Crematory.
