Craig Steven Neighbor, 55, of Coshocton, lost his battle after an extended illness on October 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving children at home. He was born on November 30, 1969, in Coshocton, to the late Walter "Jerry" Neighbor and Linda (Wright) Neighbor who survives. Craig's gigantic heart, strong spirit, and unshakable loyalty left a profound mark on everyone who knew him.
Craig attended Coshocton High School where he played football and was a graduate of the class of 1988. He spent several years as a boss in seismic drilling, where he earned the respect of many for his strong work ethic and dedication, making many lifelong friendships. He went on to pursue his true passion, working in construction with his brother, sister, and friends for his father's company. He was a free spirit at heart. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, travelling the open road out west, and had a joy for music. He was a natural leader who cherished friendships. To know Craig was to experience a true genuine friend, who left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by his wife Christy Neighbor; mother Linda Neighbor; children Kody (Dava) Neighbor, Craig Neighbor Jr., Katlyn (Zach) Fouch, Andrew (Karyssa) Neighbor; 4 cherished grandchildren Adrianna Neighbor, Kingston Neighbor, Knoxlee Neighbor and Lenli Fouch; siblings Kim (Bryan) Wentzel, Denise Neighbor, Gina (Doug) Doyle, Stacy (Bill Tenczar) Neighbor, and Aimee (Bruce Gault) Neighbor.
The true root of his happiness was the love for his kids and grandkids; his passing will leave a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.
Craig was preceded in death by his father Walter Gerald "Jerry" Neighbor; big brother Walter "Damien" Neighbor; big sister Lori Willard; nephew Walter "Wally" Neighbor; and step father Donald "Zeke" Davis.
Per Craig's wishes, a cremation will take place with the Miller Funeral Home and Crematory. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Contributions can be made in Craig's honor to Generation Hospice at 26 N Westmoor Ave, Newark, OH 43055.
