Cathy A Cox

Cathy A. Cox, 69, Coshocton passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, after bravely facing cancer.

She was born in Coshocton on May 9, 1957 to the late William B. and Imogene R. “Jean” Cox.

She graduated from Tri-Valley High School.

Answering the call to care for those in need, Cathy chose to be a nurse’s assistant as her lifelong profession. Her dedication shined during her many years at the County Home and at Coshocton County Regional Medical Center.

Through her work, Cathy provided comfort and support to innumerable families, embodying compassion in every gesture; she was always quite the people pleaser.

Cathy is survived by her two brothers Steven L. (Mary) Cox of Adams Mills and William (Ginny) Cox of Bradford, OH; several nieces and nephews. She had Mollie Jean and Gracie Kay her beloved dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Imogene (Benner) Cox.

Though she never married, her life’s purpose and warmth touched all who knew her through her tireless work as a nurse’s assistant.

Per Cathy’s wishes, a cremation will take place with The Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, no services will be observed at this time.
