Bill Touvelle

Frank William "Bill" Touvelle, 93, of Coshocton, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

 He was born on June 5, 1933, in Coshocton to the late Francis and Virginia (Moore) Touvelle. Bill was a graduate of Coshocton High School and attended Kent State University. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. On August 28, 1958, he married Barbara (Jones) Touvelle, who passed away in 2003.

 Bill worked at Clow Water Systems for 27 years before spending another 11 years with the county engineer's office. He spent many of his free days at the Elks, AMVETS and Colonial Sports and Courts, where he enjoyed good conversation, friendship, and fellowship. These places became an important part of his life, and he was proud to be a lifetime member of the Elks and AMVETS Post 36. Bill will be remembered for the friendships he made and the simple moments he enjoyed with those around him.

 Bill is survived by his children, Jay (Patty) Touvelle of California, Steve (Angie) Touvelle of Florida and Ann (Gary) Phillips of Texas as well as grandchildren, Matt Skelton, Tyler Skelton, Derek Skelton, Christine Touvelle and Katie (Josh) Mahler, great granddaughter Virginia "Ginny" Mahler. Also surviving are two siblings Larry (Debbie) Touvelle and Shirley Howell; several nieces and nephews.

 Along with his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters Louise Harding and Kay Summers and brother, John Touvelle.

 Calling hours will be held at The Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 from 1pm to 2pm, where an Elk's service will begin at 2pm. A private burial will take place at South Lawn Cemetery.
