Liz Gruhn

Alice Elizabeth "Liz" Gruhn, 72, of Warsaw, passed away at Altercare of Coshocton on Monday January 26, 2026.

Liz was born in New Jersey to the late Karl V. and Alice E. (Sweigert) Wheeler on September 18, 1953.

She worked many years for Brunswick City School as a special education teacher; she had a deep passion for helping disabled children. Liz also enjoyed gardening, reading, working around her home and spending time with her family. She was a long-time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Tiverton Grange.

Liz is survived by her devoted husband Donald A. "Don" Gruhn whom she married April 16, 1977; children Eric (Kelly) Gruhn of Medina, Lisa Gruhn and Denise Gruhn both of Strongsville; two grandchildren Ethan and Ava Gruhn; one sister Carol Aghajanian Of Baltimore, MD; and one niece.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday January 29, 2026 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM, a cremation for Liz will take place after the calling hours.
