Thomas L. “Dick” Bradford, 78, of Conesville, passed away at his home on Saturday November 10, 2018.
Dick was born in Birds Run on July 23, 1940 to the late John E. and Dorothy Bradford. He graduated from Plainfield High School, served in the Army National Guard from 1957-1963. Dick was a man of many skills, he had worked as a timber man, butcher, coal miner, drove truck for William Albert Excavating and most recently retired from Franklin Township where, among other tasks, helped maintain the Franklin Township Cemetery for over 30 years. He was a member of the Coshocton Eagles, loved to spend time outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping and spending time with his family and friends.
Dick is survived by his wife Sue C. Bradford; four children Kelly Queen, Tom (Charlene) Bradford, Terry (Sue Mills) Bradford and Tony J. Bradford all of Conesville; 19 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; two brothers Jim Bradford of Conesville and Jerry Bradford of Plainfield; numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his 4 brothers Richard, Robert, Ed and Gene Bradford; 3 sisters Alice Cramblett, Annie Wright and Faye Bradford.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday November 13, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Funeral services for Dick will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bill Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
