Susan Kay (Bernhart) Young

Susan Kay Young, 60, of West Lafayette passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Community Truman Hospice House in New Philadelphia due to a short-term illness.  She was born on April 16, 1958 in Millersburg, Ohio.

She worked at Signature Healthcare as the head cook for many years. She loved cooking, writing new recipes, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving friend of 13 years, Mark Willis; daughters Chelsea (Kevin) Lowrey and Christina (Ben) Renner; mother Sarah Jane (Miller) Bernhart; grandchildren Kameron, Gunner, and Raegan; siblings Sandy (Joe) Bowen, Sharon (Doug) Mickley, Shelia (Lynn) Feikert, Randy Bernhart, Robert (Angie) Bernhart, and Ronnie Bernhart.

Susan is preceded in death by her husband, Shawn C. Young and her father Myron Bernhart.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm with funeral services beginning at 2:00pm with Pastor Matthew Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery.  in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the Community Hospice Truman Hospice House, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
