Marilyn O'Neil Obituary
Marilyn Louise O’Neil, 82, of Coshocton passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark. She was born in Coshocton on June 21, 1936. She was referred by friends and neighbors as “Ma Byrd”.
She was employed at College Park and Guilliams Family Home until retiring in 1998. She enjoyed her retirement years playing with her puppies, Pepper and Casey.
Marilyn is survived by a sister Ruth Sleppy of Erie, PA; Daughters Vicki Parks, Julie (Paul) Bratton both of Coshocton; son Delbert Byrd of Coshocton; grandchildren Kimberly (Katrina) Kessler of Newark, Ohio, Erik (Sheridy) Snyder of Midwest City, OK, Matthew Snyder of Coshocton, and Tamara (Juan) Salazar of Massillon, Ohio; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold “Jack” and Juanita (Poulson) Appis; sister Janice (Jefferey) Sensabaugh; brother John (Opal) Appis; and grandson Jeremy Byrd.
Graveside services will be held at Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11:00am with Lloyd Tenney officiating.
