Lois "Jane" Chaney

Lois Jane Chaney, 88, of West Lafayette, Ohio passed away at her home on May 19, 2018.  Jane was born in Newcomerstwon to the late Earl and Florence (Regula) Chaney on February 19, 1930.

Jane retired from Ansel Edmonts in Coshocton as an office manager for numerous years.  She was an excellent seamstress making all sorts of quilts and clothing.  She loved spending time with her many nieces and nephews.  Jane also enjoyed watching movies in her home. 

She is survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews; her devoted friend and caregiver for years Ruth Dickerson and her canine companion Ace.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother William Earl Chaney and sister Norma June Kadri.

The family would like to thank Interim Hospice for such kind and caring support through such a difficult time.

Per Jane’s wishes, a cremation will take place and burial of her cremated will be held in West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown, Ohio on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 1:00pm.
