Laura Jolene Kehl, 79, of Coshocton passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Lafayette Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Newcomerstown on April 4, 1939 to the late John and Helen (Little) Shaw.
Jolene graduated from Newcomerstown High School in 1957 and worked as a Librarian for Coshocton Public Library before retiring in 2013. She was a member of Keene United Methodist Church. Jolene loved her grandchildren and never missed a sporting event they were involved in.
She is survived by her three children, Jill (Tom) Lahna of West Lafayette, Rob (Tara) Kehl of Canal Lewisville, and David (Kim) Kehl of Coshocton; grandchildren Hollis and Heath (Lesley) Lahna, Robbie, Donnie and Karson Kehl, and Kody and Darren Dreher; great grandchildren Taylee, Odin and Fenn Lahna and Collin Brooks; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Kehl whom passed away in 2008; brothers Dean, Harold, Robert “Trig” Shaw and Gene Little.
Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and one hour prior to the funeral services. Funeral services for Jolene will be Wednesday at 11:00am with Rev. Dairel Kaiser officiating. Burial will follow at Keene Cemetery.
