Allen Jones Obituary
Allen Jones, 80, of Warsaw passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; children Ed (Cheri) Jones and Sandy (Jeff) Fitch; grandchildren Kristi Jones, Vicki (Chad) LaChance, Rick (Kenzie) Fitch and Marc Fitch; and great granddaughter Chloe LaChance. As well as a brother-in-law Ward Allen; sister-in-law Lois Allen, and several nieces and nephews.
Allen lived and farmed in Warsaw for his entire life. Besides farming, he also ran several local businesses including; seed and fertilizer sales, the Warsaw Park Place Mobile Home Park, and residential excavation. He made many lifelong friendships traveling across the Midwest and Canada for tractor pulling competitions. He loved dogs and spent his later years in the company of Brutus and Popeye, two Beagle Basset Hound mixes. His work ethic and sense of humor will forever be remembered by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Zona Jones, a granddaughter, sister, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law.
No services will be observed. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Coshocton Public Library at 635 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 438412, Life Care Hospice at 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
