Biography

Lester Moore, 59, of Frazeysburg passed away at Grant Medical Center in Columbus on Wednesday September 21, 2011. Lester was born in Coshocton County on December 11, 1951 to the late Lester and Dorothy Moore. He graduated from River View High School and was active in the FFA. After high school, Lester joined the United States Army serving for two years. He was a member of the Coshocton Eagles Lodge and Coshocton County Sportsman Association and had worked on the family farm, oil fields and for Longaberger/Woodcrafts. Lester enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing. Survived by his daughter Elizabeth “Beth” (Andrue) Ervin of West Lafayette; step brother Carl Baker of Coshocton; grandchildren Adrianna and Kaden Moore; several nieces, nephews and friends. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers John and James Moore. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday from 10-12 PM where funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM with Pastor Robert Mesnard officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery with the Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard performing military honors.
