Mollie Elson (Elson) Richcreek

Mollie E. Richcreek, 77, of Taylors, SC formally of Coshocton, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at her home. She was born in Coshocton, OH on June 27, 1946 to the late Lister “Bow” and Ethel (Jacobs) Elson.

Mollie graduated from Coshocton High School in 1964 and attended Capital University and Muskingum College. Mollie had previously worked for First National Bank, Coshocton, Bank Ohio, Columbus, and Coshocton City Schools as a teacher’s aide. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting. Anything from painting to creating wreaths and flower arrangements. But most of all she enjoyed watching her grandchildren.

Mollie is survived by her husband, Larry L Richcreek, who she married June 15, 1968; daughters Andi (Mark) Dobbins of Coshocton and Amanda “Mandi” (Dave) Johnston of Taylors, SC; grandchildren Emma and Chloe Dobbins, Mackenzie, Madison, and Oliver Johnston; brother John (Becky Bell) Elson; Sister-in-Law Cheryl Richcreek; devoted friend Sylvia Johnston and her best friends Carole Harper and Jo Zingg Brown.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, OH 43812 on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm and one hour prior to funeral services. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00am with Rev. Deb Quillen officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Coshocton.
