Wayne J. Parks, 90, of West Lafayette passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at Lafayette Pointe Health and Rehabilitation. He was born in Coshocton on April 26, 1927 to the late Clarence and Dora (McNabb) Parks.
He retired from Pretty Products and drove school bus for Ridgewood Local School District. He was a member of the Newcomerstown Moose Lodge 1337 and the Fresno Bible Church.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Betty (Hammersley) Parks, whom he married October 15, 1949; daughters Connie Keffer of Fresno and Pam (Mitch) Bell of West Lafayette; sister Helen Miller of Lancaster; 8 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Jerry Parks; siblings Paul, Flay, Pauline, and Evanelle.
Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 11:00am – 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Chris Cutshall officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
