Mary Dawson

Mary Dawson, 73, of Zanesville passed away Monday May 23, 2016 at her residence surrounded by family.  She was born in Coshocton on April 3, 1943 to the late James and Audrey (Young) Hack. 

Mary worked at as a waitress and at Pretty Products before retiring.  On November 21, 1964 she married John A. Dawson, whom passed away May 20, 2005. 

She is survived by her children Debra ( Delmont) Dobson of Conesville, Sandra (Robert) Brown of Zanesville, Wesley (Dawn) Dawson of Coshocton, Jay (Tricia) Dawson of Coshocton, John (Sherry) Dawson of Tennessee, Ronnie Dawson of Tennessee, and Maryann (Jay) Johnson of Virginia; grandchildren Duane (Melanie Egnew), DeAnn, and Delmont “D.J.” Dobson III, Jennifer (Cody) Hough, Brandi (Adonis Brooks) Brown, Sharhonda Brown, Dominque (Jorden) King, Trever (Allison) Dawson, Kelsey (Devin) Hammond, Lydia Dawson, Caedyn Dawson, and Brittany (James) Hanna.  Siblings James (Mona Smith) Hack and Nancy Hale; brother-in-law Paul (Rosemarie) Dawson; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law David and Lynn Hack, nephew and his wife Michael and Kim Hale, brother-in-law Robert Dawson, sister-in-law Mary Ellen Guthrie.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday May 27, 2016 from 11:00AM – 1:00 PM with funeral services beginning at 1:00PM with Pastor Gary Butler officiating.

Interment will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
