Marion E. Carter

Marion E. Carter, 91, formerly of Coshocton passed away Tuesday April 26, 2016 at her home.  She was born in West Boylston, Massachusetts on September 18, 1924 to the late Frank and Marion (Tower) Comforti. 

In 1948 she married Andrew Carter, whom passed away March 12, 2005. Marion worked at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital in admitting and most importantly as a homemaker.  She is a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and the Grace United Methodist Women.  All animals were her friend and she adored her family. 

Marion is survived by her children Paul (Chryse) Carter of San Marcos, CA, Janis Carter of Westerville, OH, and Craig (Donna) Carter of Johnstown, OH; grandchildren Matthew (Claire) Carter of San Diego, CA, Amanda (Dustin Reyff) Carter of Penngrove, CA, Julie (Chris) Schalz of Delaware, OH, and Joseph Carter of Johnstown, OH; One great grandchild, Landon Reyff; special caregiver Stephanie Hansard and her feline companion Calico. 

Along with her parents and husband, Marion is preceded in death by her seven siblings. 

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday April 29, 2016 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM. Funeral services for Marion will be held on Saturday at 11:00AM with Pastor Keith Peachy officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
