Darlene M. Wall, 87, of West Lafayette, Ohio passed away on Sunday December 24, 2017 at Lafayette Pointe Nursing Home in West Lafayette.
Darlene was born in Polka Dotte, Ohio (Gallia County) on July 6, 1930 to the late Ora and Faye (Capper) Montgomery.
She had worked at Shaw Barton, Novelty Advertising, Newberry’s and River Greens. Darlene loved spending time with her family and friends. She always kept busy, was an excellent care giver to many and enjoyed working outside at her home in West Lafayette. Darlene was also a member of Fresno Bible Church.
Darlene is survived by her daughter Donna (Dan) Croy of West Lafayette; grandson Matthew (Wendy) Croy of West Lafayette; three great grandsons Casey, Conner and Cody Croy; a sister Charlene Shangraw of DuBois, PA; several beloved nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Donald Wall whom passed away on May 19, 2000; a precious grandson Brian Lee Croy; sister Geneva Hayes; three brothers Bernard, Franklin “Hank” and William Ernest Montgomery; two brother in laws Berkley Hayes and Robert Shangraw; one sister in law Hazel (Mash) Montgomery.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, on Thursday December 28, 2017 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM where funeral services for Darlene will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 PM with Pastor Chris Cutshall officiating. Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens.
