Allen L. Farley, 82 years old, passed away October 17, 2017, to be with his Lord, peacefully, at his home, in the company of his loving family as per his wishes. He was the son of Ralph & Mary (Lanning) Farley of Murray City, Ohio who preceded him in death.
Allen was a talented musician of many instruments, was a bandleader and a beautiful singer. He was also a wonderful woodworker, creating many fine pieces, a carpenter and general manager of the family business.
Allen is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley (Bragg) Farley, five children; David (Karen) Farley, Brent (Dawn) Farley, Bruce Farley, Vanessa (Terry) King and Kimberly (John) O’Brien. Brothers; Roy (Ivy) Farley and David W. (Naomi) Farley, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Valencia Farley, daughter-in-law Pamela Farley, great grandson David Workman, and sister Ollie Sorrells.
Grandchildren; Enrique, Christian, Jay, Clinton, Troy, Tiffany, Megan, Valencia, Toby, Nathan, Todd, Amanda, Heidi, Kammie, Scott, Erin, Zachary, Dakota, Chelcie, Darci, Shawn, Jamie, Justin, Ashley, Brittany.
Great-grandchildren; Tayleigh, Peyton, Taylor, Hailey, Paige, Teuana, Cameron, Sebastian, Blake, Peyton, Kian, Quinn, Wesley, Maya, Kira, Troy James, Lincoln, Joseph, Alexis, Baylee, Emilianna, Jaydon, Ian, Owen, Maya, Easton, Annabelle, Penolo, Jackson, Bentley, Isabella, Aiden, Charlie, Anthony, Jackson And future baby (Poppy).
A Celebration of Life is planned for Allen at a later date to be announced. His Ashes are to be placed near his parents in Anderson Cemetery, McConnellsville, Ohio.
